For twenty years, Achim Reus has performed with some of the most amazing ensembles in Europe.  He was the principal French horn player of the prestigious Radio Symphony Orchestra Stuttgart, Germany as well as a long time member of the acclaimed German Brass and was a regular substitute for over ten years with the world renowned Berlin Philharmonic.  He performed with some of the most famous conductors including Claudio Abbado, Sir Simon Rattle, Sir Georg Solti, James Levine, Daniel Barenboim, Lorin Maazel & Zubin Mehta.  As a professional musician, he has played on more than 50 records, traveled extensively and performed in concert all over the world.  He is married to Angela Jones-Reus who currently serves as Professor of Flute at the Hugh Hodgson School of Music at the University of Georgia.

Mr. Reus will be working as a Master Class instructor with our Horn students but is also available for private lessons as he has decided to give back to the music world by helping young students reach their potential.  For information about private lessons, contact Mr. Owens
